MASSAGE THERAPY

Sports massage therapy manipulates soft tissue for the purpose of eliciting the desired response, either to stimulate or relax. It supports both lymphatic and blood circulation, can soothe & calm or stimulate the nervous system and increase range of motion, suppleness & mobility in important groups of soft tissue. Deep tissue, percussion therapy is proudly offered to enhance therapeutic effects.

Acupressure massage is unlike acupuncture which uses needles inserted into tissue to influence energetic pathways. It uses non invasive hand pressure to release pain & inflammation, increase bloodflow, decrease anxiety and overall increase relaxation.

Give your horse and dog maximum care, with a regular therapeutic massage regime. This is one of my most popular services and for good reason- rehabilitative and preventative health care... naturally!

THERAPEUTIC COLD LASER

Over 40 years of studies have been conducted on the use of light therapy making it a confident choice to add to your partner's regime.

Also known as photonic light therapy, red light is excellent for tissues penetrating below the skin's surface such as stimulating acupuncture points, treating wounds & infections and releasing trigger points.

Infrared light is a more intensive form of light therapy reaching muscle groups and bone deep below the skin's surface. Not only will it assist in reducing inflammation and offer pain relief to an injured area, it will raise performance levels and increase healing by 50% without medications... while working at cellular level!

Gua sha myofascial restriction release is a natural, alternative therapy that involves gentle scraping of the skin with a massage tool to improve circulation. It is an ancient Chinese healing technique that offers a unique approach to your horse & dog's better health, also addressing issues such as chronic pain and old injuries involving scar tissue.

Kinesiology taping is the use of a tightly woven cotton fabric with a combination of a specialized, latex/drug free adhesive. It is also known as "The Magic Tape" and is used to support injured tissue or joints without restricting movement. It helps to aid in faster recovery, prevents spasms and overstretching of soft tissue as well as enhance muscle tone and overall strength.

MICROCURRENT THERAPY

Microcurrent therapy is offered with an FDA approved device which has the amazing ability to offer immediate biofeedback. Biofeedback can be defined as the body's ("bio") response ("feedback") to a low level stimulation produced by the device. You see, a body's energy/electricity/life force always chooses the path of least resistance. If there is an injury or compromised tissue, the inflammation creates a barrier for the body's energetic force and travels around the pain. This pattern will eventually cause long term lameness & performance issues if the energy flow is not restored.
